New Candidates

Seriously people ...

For the first time in my life as a voting member of society (over 30 years) I have NEVER been faced with the dilemma that we voters are faced with this election ... that being that there is NOT any good candidates!

At first I thought I would vote for the one I dislike least, but then I was reminded that two wrongs don't make a right and choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil.  I can't do that!  I won't do that!

Do I vote for a man so arrogant and bold to not care about manners and respect for others - how in the world will other countries and other leaders respect him if can does not even have the decency to respect those around him.  OR  Do I vote for a known liar and shifty politician that used power and corruption to "excuse" her wrong doings.  She is not trustworthy nor honest. Trump is not either!  Neither candidate is anything that I want in a president:

dependable
stable
visionary
respectful
business minded
responsible
faithful - loyal

Look around the world - look at our past - now look at each candidate's past.  Is that what you want for our future?

There is not a single good candidate still running for office.

Please write in a better candidate that those that are running for office in 2016.

Half of all food is wasted world wide

• Half of all food is wasted worldwide, according to a new report by the British Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IME).^[38]

So you wonder WHY?

Well, several reasons really, but right here in American I can think of a few right off the top of my head.

#1 - legislatures made it mandatory for children to take food on their lunch trays at school that they don't want and won't eat - therefore it ends up in the trash can.  WASTE!!!

#2 - America decided it was a good idea to SUPERSIZE.  NOT!!!  Not a good idea - first it leads to obesity and second, anyone self-conscience of how much they were eating wouldn't finish it.  Have you ever noticed it's almost cheaper to get more food than less - or at least it's a "better value" but the tricky thing is "it's NOT" a better value for you.  You end up eating more food than you need or wasting food you can't finish!

#3  American's have become complacent with AVAILABLE food.  Kids just don't understand throwing away food is the same as throwing away money - picture it.  Instead of throwing away the mashed potatoes you didn't want to eat picture yourself throwing away two dollars $2.  Food is money and we waist so much because we take it for granted.  Right - "There's more where that came from."  Well, #1 only if you can afford it and #2, why throw away your money.  CRAZY

These are just a few of the wasteful things I have seen first hand.

Term Limits

There is a problem with our governmental system that should be there but POLITIC got in the way of good government.

Now, instead of our congressmen and women working for us, their constituents - they work to get re-elected.  Why is that a problem - they don't vote in session for the good of their constituents; they vote because someone promised them more votes on election day, or some sort of pay back deal, or they did the ole "You vote for my bill and I'll vote for yours" even though it is not what the majority of the people of their representation want.

We put them in office to REPRESENT us, not to POLITIC for office!

We need TERM LIMITS!

With term limits, the politician (representative or senator) could focus on the bills and issues at hand - for their district, state or for the nation!  They wouldn't be worried about getting re-elected and they wouldn't be waisting precious and valuable time and effort doing things that aren't in our country's best interest.

I'm so sick of the politics.

I've often wanted to run for local office - I care about our community, state and country but I'm sorry to say I have never gone down that road because I wouldn't want the reputation of a POLITICIAN associated with me.

Everyone jokes about it, POLITICIANS are self-interested liars, thieves, and whatever else, and but the reason they joke about it ... is ... because we know deep down inside that it's true!

There are more nonsense laws out there then ever before.  There is more RED tape.  There are more dollars spent unnecessarily than ever before!  WHY ???

With term limits POLITICIANS could get back to the real reason they are in office - to REPRESENT their constituents.  What are our needs?  Do we have a balance budget?  Are we financially operating within the means of the budget?  What can we do to make the government more efficient, productive and cost effective.

National Debt

Okay - I don't get it!

We are what trillions and trillions of dollars in debt and yet we still "give out" money as if we have it to give out.

WAKE UP AMERICA!  We are in the whole - the red!!!  If were a company we'd be out of business (would have been a long time ago) or been bought out by someone else (what do you think other nations are doing).

We as a nation can't afford to keep paying people unemployment, special education grants, grants, welfare ... we can't afford all the red tape - let's get back to simple!

We don't need the government to tell us what a good lunch is or how to teach children ... we don't need the government to create layers and layers of paperwork just to get something done!

We have to cut our spending - yes, it's going to hurt BUT we will get better from it.

It's like giving your children medicine - they don't want it, but it will make them better in the long run!

HOW In the world can we be giving out free grant money for almost anything if we are in debt!!!
